I own a 1977 35 Hp Johnson. My situation is that I just replaced my coils with new ones thinking that this would fix the problem and i've cleaned my carborator and fuel lines several times and everything seems to be working fine but my motor still will not start. It will turn on for a few seconds but then it immediately turns off completely. It sounds like it is starving for fuel and at one point I was able to maintain it running for a while but I had to apply the choke. Does anyone know what the problem can be? Thanks in advance.
