My thoughts exactly. It's not for everyone but there are folks who like it.

I do not like kayak much. kaboat seem easy to setup and operate.

how is it when you are trying to stand up, fishing standing up?

Ive been wondering this myself - been over to that boatstogo site a few times browsing their inflatable kaboats and I really like the versatility of it, and how well it seems to maneuver in the videos but I am wondering what that air floor is like to stand on.

Any of you gents use the air floor in your boat?

i've seen one of the air floor has a aluminum piece in the middle. i assume that is probably a semi hard floor. but i dont see air floors to be very stable fishing standing up. specially if you are tall.

I can't speak for a Ka- boat air floor but I wouldn't trade my high pressure air floor for anything.
In fact at 6 foot 1
I find the air floor very easy on my legs while standing and fishing.

My air floor is also directly tied to my keel which makes the boat handle much better than a pure soft bottom boat

It is perfect for rivers and lakes.. I have a 15 footer 470xl. Me and my 2 boys fish with plenty of room..I can inflate it and carry it on the pickup or keep it in the bag and take camping while towing the trailer.. It is very stable in the water and does not feel tippy.. As for standing, the floor is solid enough but you have nothing to hold on to. A leaning post of some kind would work..

Here is a pic from a solo river fishing trip.. I enjoy mine..

I had tested out an airfloor and noticed the reduced impact on my knees/ankles. I hadn't even considered the benefit on my joints by going with the dropstiched air floor. I have used Aluminum floor IB's in the past, but this would be my first all PVC model. The kaboats only seem to come with airfloors Im guessing for weight and such, so its looking like I am on the right path! Thank you sir!
