boat overheating

I had to remove the two hoses on the crank pully to put belts on and now the boat is overheating. What would cause this.

Only if you put the hoses on backwards.

What year, model #, etc????

Thx. That's what it was. Guess that's what I get for trying to fix it on the water. Got in a hurry

It doesn't take long to ruin an impeller by running dry. I'd give it a look if it were my boat.
