I know this has been covered in depth all over the web but i thought maybe an updated discussion might be good. My question is what do you guys use to protect your vinyl, plastic, and fabrics on your boats.

I have always used Armorall liek it is going out of style. I soak the entire boat with it when every time i cover the boat. This is what my father has done for years with his boats. I trailer my boat and cover it when ever it is parked so its not exposed for long periods at all. This year I had dry cracking vinyl for the frirst time in 20 years. With some research i found out the Armorall has been messing with their original formula. i know have cracked seats because of this. Im considering switching to 303 aerospace. what do you guys use?

Everyone that has used it seems to speak very highly of 303. I personlly wouldn't use Armorall on anything ever (I personally think it ruins the natural protection of vinyl and replaces it with it's own and then when it wears off, you're left with damage).

Use 303 and you'll forget all about Armor All.

Glen Raven Mills, maker of Sunbrella Highly recommends the 303 for all their marine fabrics, so that should say that it's really good stuff!

I keep hearing about this 303 stuff, everyone seems to love it. What does the product actually do besides cost a lot? Is it a cleaner? conditioner? 303 just seems to be the answer for everything. I havent tried it yet, maybe its time.

Badburn, i have the same feeling. it seems like it is just sun screen for your stuff which is really great and all but even our sunscreen has lotion in it for our skin. Does 303 help moisturize the vinyl? My vinyl is old and starting to crack so i need to make sure it stays supple and soft. i guess 303 will protect it from further deterioration from the sun but if its not soft and supple it will crack.
