I have a 1978 22' starcraft v5 with twin johnson 55's on it. It pulls pretty hard to the right at most speeds, but much worse at top speed (about 28 mph). I tried pulling one motor and then the other out of the water to see if it was isolated, and they both did the same thing. I tried adjusting the anode fins, and that did not help at all. What am I doing wrong? The hull looks okay, as far as I can tell. It's an aluminum hull, if that matters.

pulls right, move back of anode to the right. you have the torque of two motors to over come. i suggest changing to a teleflex no feed back system.

Which way did you adjust the trim tabs? They should be turned in the direction of the pull. They don't act like rudders, they counteract the torque of the prop.

Well.... Why didn't you just say I'm an idiot??? :)
Of course I moved them the other way... I'll get back to you if it still pulls.

Thanks all!!
