Boat Pulls To Right

I have a 15 foot fiberglass boat with a 85hp eng on it. For some reason when I take my hand off the wheel it pulls to the right. Any idea what might cause this. Steering feels tight too.... <br /><br />Joe

Adjust the tab on the bottom of the cavitation plate. See the owner's manual.<br />Jim

Move rear of tab in the direction that it's pulling! Pulling "right", move back of Tab "Right".<br /><br />Rick

Try moving the aft fin of the tab approx. 2 deg.

Same as 2150. You only need to move that tab a LITTLE at a time to see the results at speed. Turn the back of the tab the same direction of the pull. Sounds weird but it works.

Boats still pulling to right. I made the ajustment you all recommended however the boat is still pulling to right. Have any other recommendations of what might cause this?<br /><br />Thanks<br />LAKERJOE

check to see if the skeg is bent.<br />PS. thanks for advice on adjustment of tab.<br />did mine yesterday backwards it seems
