Boat Radios?

I would like to hook up a radio in my Bass Tracker. I know I could alway get a car stereo to do this but I'd like to avoid cutting out a mounting location for the unit and also the speakers. Let alone all the wiring needed for the unit, speakers and antenna.
Does anyone know of a simple AM/FM radio (the smaller the better) with a built in speaker that will allow me to hook it up to the battery in my boat or junction box...
I guess I could live with AA batteries but if I could run it off the trolling battery (no worries) it would be better...
Thanks in advance

If you search the forum, you'll find a topic regarding radios (auto/marine).

In your case I'd look for a standard portable radio, designed for outdoors or even marine use.

Maybe something like

The DeWalt was an example only. It's the ridgidity I'm focussing on. Many portables won't last in marine environment, so some kind of weatherproof is needed.

Looking around one comes across several gizmos:
http://www.shoplifestyleonline.com/lx847.html
