pretty basic, I have a 7 foot inflatable rated for a 4hp motor but I have a 6hp motor. Can I still use it safely ? Anyone try this before ? I know with bigger differences in hp it might be an issue but it seems like such a small difference 4 - 6 hp? plus the weight of the motor is a meager 10 lbs. diffference. Any help would be great, Thanks

Yea, you should be fine. My old aluminum row boat was rated for a 9.9 but I used a 15. Was a bit faster than it probably should have gone but it was fine for me :D
