Finally got this thing rigged out the way I want it. Thought I would pass along some pics. Thanks for all the help from everyone here with the ideas to get this thing up to spec.

-1984 13'9" Zodiac (no PVC here!) purchased used from dealer.
-2008 25hp Yamaha 2 stroke, purchased new may this year.
-Bow box/seat/pole holder was an idea obtained from this site-I just put a bit more finish on it. 3/4" ply, marine glue, SS hardware, marine vinyl coating, 4 coats marine varnish, aluminum edging on every corner.
-Trailer is a utility trailer kit I converted to a boat trailer, put a longer tongue, added bunks, water proof lights, bearing buddies on the wheels etc.
-drivers seat has ram mount rigged to side to hold fish finder.
-small gel battery to run fish finder and running lights.

Re: Boat rigged out! Pics

VERY sharp looking rig! The Marks are great boats and will take a beating. I really like the Heavy Duty modifications you added. Great job on the trailer bunks, and nice score on that engine, too! Keep her protected with 303 and she'll last forever. Good one!

Larry

edit: I just noticed the depth sounder sensor; does it seem much lower than it needs to be? If you raise it as high as possible while still getting good signal, you may avoid it getting knocked about by the padded bunks when putting the boat back on the trailer.

Re: Boat rigged out! Pics

It WAS a foldable. And could be again if i took the bunks off. But thats not going to happen. Trailer was 199.99. Add another 200 for parts to get it to this point. If you look at the stern pic you can see the rust spot from my weld. The rear rail had to be built up as the weight of the transom saver was too much. Added 1/8"angle iron to that piece. It would have been fine had i not drilled 1/2" holes in it for the rear bunks. Easy fix, i have since repainted. I have to add 2 side posts to keep it centered when its windy so my feet dont get wet.
