Boat seat install

Hello,<br /><br />Can anyone offer info on what is the best method of mounting seats in an aluminum boat? The metal is very thin where I want to mount and you can't get a nut on the underside because there is no way to access the underside. I want to mount them on the factory metal runners. Thanks!!!

Use short (so they will not go through the bottom) self tapping screws, and/or drill (carefully) and use pop rivits (aluminum rivits).

I think I said it wrong. I want to mount the seats to the factory metal seats. Not the bottom of the boat. Thanks...
