Just tooled up to replace the plywood structure that make the back rests for the seats of my 26 Crusiers . The ply wood that was used after 9 years gave up the fight . My pole holders are mounted in the corners . I bought 4 - 6'by 3/4" by 12" read oak to redue the structure . Gorilla glue ( never tried it ) stainless t- 50 staples , heavy duty electric staple gun .
Seats need to be done also . I thought maybe fiberglass the ply wood ? or do the oak
I made a rocket lancher to hold 5 poles out of oak , no finish , left them raw . It was mounted behind the helm ,and still holding up after 9 years ;this is why I chose the oak .
