Hey all. I have recently redone my seats. Now i need to find some of the backing that the boat has. I have a 1986 Bayliner Capri and i am talking about the Foam/vinyl that your back rests on while sitting on the front seats. Can anyone point me to an area that may sell them? I cant seem to find them on the web.

Thank You

If you mean the 1/2 inch thick sheets/sections with a thin material made on it, its sold by the yard off a big roll anyplace that sells auto or boat upholstery materials.

Usually, its sewed onto the seat cover piecess themselves as you put them together.

You mean while sitting in the bow, the 4" (ish) strip that goes around the curve of the boat, or ???

Basically they are /2" plywood that is covered with foam about 1-2 inches thick then marine vinyl. You have to make them or recover the ones you have now. Spaces are left between colors to screw then into the side about 1 inch from the top.
