Boat shuts down after wake or hard jolt

Has anyone had this problem. If I hit a wake semi hard or take a nice jolt I lose all power and the engine stalls out like the battery came disconnected. If I wait 2-3 minutes everything comes back on and I can start the engine again and continue on like normal.
I have checked every electrical connection I can find. all battery terminals are tight and clean. There is a battery shut off switch I tried moving that to on and off a few times. What would cause this? And why would everything come back on after waiting 2-3 minutes. I have a 2001 Sea Ray 190 with a Mercruiser 5.0.

welcome aboard.

you may want to verify the battery connections at the starter. also verify the connections at the large 90 amp circuit breaker. the 90 amp circuit breaker could also be going belly up.
