boat size for omc 75

looking for the right size and hull type for my 1979 75 evinrude the last boat I had it on was tooo wet 19ft wellcraft 14/13 prop Im hopeing someone has the same motor with a recommedation on a good boat fo this motor

Depends on what kind of water you'll be in. Lake? Mission Bay? Harbor? Coastal? What style boat are you looking for? Small Cuddy, closed bow runabout, open bow, center console, etc? Skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, cruising, or fishing? Lots of ways to do this. Prop can always be swapped, that is not much of an issue.<br /><br />I have lots of questions.... but few answers. But define what you want, then tell us. I'm sure you'll receive many good suggestions.

Boston Whaler 16/17.<br /><br />Wet is more a result of operation than hull design.

I'm with JB on the 16-17'ers for you. A 75 will give marginal performance on most hulls larger no matter what prop you put on it.

jb if you ever went fishing with us in that wellcraf you would have a wet suit on .Im looking for a center console for fishing offshore boston whaler sounds good and safe thanks for the info

i have a 16.5 center console with a merc 90hp 3cylinder. but i think it would work perfectly with a 75. thats a great motor. 3 cylinder looper.<br /><br />thats the biggest 3 cylinder they made. be proud
