What is a reasonable fee for indoor boat storage? I have a deal for $500 for the winter for a 20' Cobalt. This is off the lake in Winnipisaukee. I had to jump on it for timing purposes.
Murdock jr. is about right. If you take the time and keep your eye on the newspaper you should be able to find a farmer or old warehouse, in the 300 dollar range. Although in Two Rivers you can probably get storage for a 12pak and a bottle of brandy. Lived there 20+ years.

I would recommend finding a near rural newspaper right now or in Sept. (next year) and look in the classifieds. Getting early contact with someone and treating them right is a good way to secure winter storage for years to come.

It is a personal preference but I look at indoor storage as a maintainance item that will prolong the life of the boat. I have only kept my boat outside one year, when I was relocating from California to Wisconsin.
Boy oh Boy are you guys spoiled!!! Here on Long Island,I cant even find indoor storage.I posted it a month ago and didnt even get 1 response.I would love to keep my 280 regal inside for the winter.Charlie
Check out county fairgrounds. They will often use their buildings for storage in the winter. I store my 17ft OB indoors (Sibley Cty Fair) for $120 for the winter season. I have to drive an hour out of the city, but thats no big deal..
MarkJ...I'm over at Newfound so the rate might be comparable, yours maybe a little higher. Indor storage, racked is about $650 for 20feet if you can find it, $450 is about the going rate here if committed by Otcober 1, so $500 right now is fair. Over here, they'll winterize and storage for $650.
