Boat trailer tongue jack Wheel

Anybody know of a boat trailer jack that has a much larger wheel, preferrably a pneumatic?

I have a farm project design that will use jacks, but they will used on slightly rough, maybe soft ground. Weight should be less than 200#, on each jack.

The usual plastic wheels won't cut it. It may be possible to modify jacks with rubber tires, but if there is something ready-made, would be the ticket.

Thanks

I dont know if this would be out of the picture, or unusable for your purpose but a trailer dolly has large wheels for pulling it over anything. This could also maybe alleviate the need for multiple jacks.

Great Idea! i ran acroos theses (from Harborfreight) also, last night and am considering them, or at leat parts from them.

Basically, I am designing a movable chicken house, around 8x10'.

It will need to set tight against the ground, with the ability to be raised 6" or so, off of the ground, supported by wheels. The house will then be moved a short distance and lowered back to the ground.

I was thinking about a trailer jack for each corner.

Any other ideas appreciated

I grew up around people who had coops and my last house, the neighbor had one too. Those are the best dang eggs you can get! Plus the chickens were always fun to watch too. Anyway, you don't say how big it will be but all the ones I have seen were like small-medium backyard sheds. Nobody moved theirs. But if I had one that I wanted to move, I might lean toward skids so I could push/tow it where I wanted it. A screwed on 6" skirt board on the "front" and "back" side would allow for ground clearance when moving. Just remove them and the skids will slide over the terrain. Once in your new spot, screw the skirts back on and you're all set.

I'd really like to see pics of this rig when you're done. I don't have any ideas better than the ones suggested. Just remember to keep it as simple as possible. A simple solution that works reliably always impresses me because I can never seem to do anything simple. I over complicate and over engineer. It sounds like a really good and practical project.

Don't forget to dig up some good fishing worms from that chicken pen!:D
