Ayuh,.......

You might as well contact any,+ All of the Welding Shops in your area,.....

'cause you're probably Not going to find anything available but Custom Built.....

This is a poor picture of the 1 I built a year ago for my 34' Nauti-line.....

Wow Bond-O!!! I LOVE THAT PIC!!!!

Check out that manly looking (is that an 80s F150?) pulling that massive boat! That is awesome!

Not making fun of this at all. That is just too cool, and has me grinning from ear to ear (being the anti-Ford guy that I am, that is impressive!). That rig has gotta be about 17,500 lbs, and for that old ford to move it is friggin AWESOME!

OK, back to the thread - you may want to contact your local marina. Portman Marina on Lake Hartwell here in SC had a huge houseboat trailer they were practically giving away (I never knew the price, but the guy having work done on his rig said he'd buy it if he had a place to put it). Anywho, just a thought...

Re: Boat Trailers

When one considers there is approximately 60:1 gear reduction in 4WD low range, that truck could pull two of those.

Ahhh,.. Nope,.... It's a 96 F-250 Diesel......

I too was raised in a Chevy truck,....
But,....
For a good many years Chevy just couldn't get it Right with their Diesels,....
That's the 1,+ Only reason I became a Ford Truck guy......

I still know my way around a SBC,+ have little or No clues on which bolt to turn on a Ford motor.......
Bear in mind,..... My truck is powered by an Ole Cornbinder.......Not Ford.....

The Houseboat is estimated at about 4 tons,.. The Trailer is a fly-weight, Maybe 1000/ 1500lbs....A Ton Tops... Homebuilt in my driveway about a year ago,....

Coming Out of the launch was Interesting to say the least,.... I had a Backhoe on standby if needed,+ it Almost was,.... At 1 point I had 3 tires Chirping slightly trying to clear the last little Hump,...4x4, Low of course,... But I just backed down a couple feet,+ came out just alittle quicker to hop over the bump......

'course,... It didn't Help at all that the water was Over 3' Low when I was doing it......Lot'sa Soap on the bunks was the only way to get the boat onto the trailer......That,+ doubling the line from the winch to a snatch-block,... My neighbor Tom thought his arms were going to Fall Off before we finally got her Home......
By next year,.... I Guarantee there'll be an Electric Winch on the trailer...........;)

96 F250 Diesel... Awesome. I'm with you on the Chevy's not getting their diesels right for awhile. A good friend of mine has a 2006 2500 HD with a diesel (not familiar enough with which exact engine), and she's a beauty. Some of the older ones I've seen have had too many fuel injection rails be replaced...
