Boat Update.....

Boat is pretty much back together now. Had to tear out platform to get to gas tank and hole was big enough to get crap out of it. Inventory that was inside. Coffee grounds,nails,oil,some plastic worms,and a few other goodies.<br /><br />Kids basically got a slap and probation. Parents on welfare so Ins. Co. will probably eat this one.<br /><br />Good news is that she is sitting in my driveway and waiting to go. Alum Creek or Clearfork is on my hit list hopefully next week for a little Muskie adventure or any thing else that wants to play. Can't wait to feel the splat of a bug on my face as I zip across the water.......

Good job. The old 'stuff in the tank trick' strikes again! When I was a wee lad I played gas station with Dad's Volkswagon and topped it up with water (kid gas). Yep, he wasn't too impressed...

Thanks Sloop....did that upfront. Didn't want to take any chances. Was more concerned in what was inside and if I could get it all out. Thanks for the reminder.......

Thanks CrabBait.... if i wasn't parnoid before I am now. You got me looking over my shoulder now. I have yet to crank her over until I'm sure all bases have been covered.<br /><br />I posted on boat questions "should I replace or not". Not wanting to tie this line up you would have my sincere gratitude if you or other members will help me through this one. <br /><br />Spent to much money on the engine(3200.00) to screw things up at this point. Lost most of last summer fishn and had to sit on the bank waiting for my toy to be rebuilt......<br /><br />"Desperate to fish"
