Boat weight and dimensions

[TERRAPINFLYER]

I have a 1985 Aquasport 20' CC. I am the second owner and there wasn't a manual or spec sheet for the boat. I went to the Aquasport web site however since genmar bought out the original Aquasport company all the info prior the corporate takeover is unavailable. Short of going to a local weigh station does anyone know where that informaion might be found?

I assume that you are aware that the weight of the boat as given by the manufacturer (or NADA) is of little value.

If it's of little value then the ONLY way to find out the weight is go to the weigh station...which the person who asked the question didn't want to do. You CAN use the manufacturers weight as a base point. From there you can add the extras (like fuel, engine, rigging, etc) and be in the ball park.
