Boat won't start

I just bought a 95 Excel with a Volvo 4.3 GS. This boat is clean. The boat ran perfect. Before purchasing and once before the battery cable broke after hitting a wake hard. Now, I repaired the terminal and the engine just cranks. Just will not fire up. I have charged the battery, pulled a plug which looked to be normal. Good color and all. Checked all wires for connection only. All are tight and secure. The only thing I can find is the 50 amp breaker on the front of engine is popped and will not stay in. The other 50 and 6 amp breaker having no slack or play in them. Could this stop my engine from firing up? Please help any advice is needed. Brand new to boating and I know this must be a small issue. This was a one owner boat, you can see this boat has been well maintained.

breakers dont remain "popped" unless they have failed. use a VOM and check

also, how are you starting the motor? since it has a carb, it requires one to two full pumps of the throttle to set the choke and prime the engine prior to moving the throttle only to 1/4 prior to cranking

I will try both of your recommendations. Than update after trying those things. Appreciate the response!

With it cranking and not starting, its not the 50amp breaker.
Check the kill switch
As Scott mentioned you need a voltmeter

I made that mistake of not bringing the lanyard for the kill switch the first time. The next day brought that and after a hard time starting. She ran great! But the idiot supposed to be showing me how to navigate these waters opened her up full throttle than we hit a wake and the negative battery cable broke due to corrosion at the terminal. I cut the wire back crimped a new terminal end on. And now can't get her to fire back up.

I have been working like crazy. Plan on getting a voltage meter tonight.

I did find a wire disconnected on the back of engine. But have no idea if it has anything to do with this issues. It will not allow me to upload the photos to show you guys.

you should really replace the whole cable. corrosion just doesnt stop at the end of the cable.

checking for spark is easy
checking for fuel is easy

start with the basics
