Boating & fishing in ogunquit, Maine need advise

I'm in the town of wells, Maine which is the next town over from Ogunquit, Maine. I'm musing my cousins 16ft sea nymph aluminum boat with a 40hp merc on it. Anyways, I want to do some saltwater fishing and don't know where to go? I've got all the rods and tackle possibly needed. I don't want to go in the ocean at all. So anyone have some tips and good spots up here in Maine?
