My boat is registered in N.H and I'm going to the Tacoma Lakes in Litchfield, Maine and would like to know what I need to do to be legal as far as registration, horsepower limits, off limit areas, speed limits, town lake laws . I got all the fishing laws and license . Oh yeah I'll be on the last lake. Any help or lead in the right direction would be deeply appreciated. Thanks

our boat has been registered in MA. but used only in ME. no problems, the game warden has stopped once in a while for a check see. our jet ski is also out of state and again no problem. if you fish make sure you have the right license. good luck. ME is a cool state to putt a round in. also good for kyaking!!

You'd better check it out... Maine passed an Invasive Plant Sticker law last year... $10. for residents,+ $20. for out of staters....<br />I don't bother to drag mine up home anymore... use the brother-in-law's....
