We don't have the four letter word problem....but it's been raining for like 3 weeks straight here in NE Indiana....I'm about ready to start building an Ark.

Re: Boating???

Watching the line of thunderstorms as they get closer ... last night was crazy with the storms around here. I understand not as bad as others have had, but for us it was pretty nasty stuff. Broken telephone/electric poles, flash flooding, accidents ... enough to keep the Emergency Responders busy. And all while I was trying to change brake pads on the Denali ... hard to respond to calls when the vehicle is up on jacks! Yikes!

You could try to shoot it. Doesn't look like you'd ruin any meat...

Re: Boating???

I woke up to 4" of heavy spring snow this morning, if this continues I will be taking the boat to work to dewinterize it and change the fluids in the nice heated shop....I can't stand it anymore.....

Re: Boating???

I've been sneaking in maintenance when I can. Still haven't floated the boat this year. Have a tournament in Wisconsin in 2 weeks on Chetek. Haven't even mounted or used the new electronics yet.

Maybe Friday for an hour or two.

Man, what a crazy April! Monday we were wearing sweatshirts & jackets. Tues. & Wed. it has been 80. At least I've got a lot done, stripping paint & some trailer work. Hope we've turned a corner and it's here to stay. Feel sorry for you guys still getting snow. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

To the people that still have snow and cold weather... I'm pretty sure it's because of where you live!:D

I'll be working in a long sleeve shirt today because the high is only going to be 72*.

Re: Boating???

The ground is still white and it's still snowing. However, in the grand scheme of things, at worst it's an inconvenience. Unlike what others are experiencing across the south......

Re: Boating???

I would take rain. We have seen some this past week, but it was with tornados and soft ball size hail. However the wind has not blown under 30 MPH for a little over a month now, so what ever rain we did get was dried up fast by the wind. We are in a drought that has brought fires all across the north western part of the state and has burned over 1.7 million acres this year. I hate the cold and snow, but I would take some of that white stuff for awhile, any thing would help.
