I don't know what happened to this one, but this trailer doesn't have guide bars so can't be that.

Cobalts look nice but they seem to be getting harder to work on. More stuff that was only meant to be accessed while the cap was lifted for assembly, so harder to reach or just have to cut a way in. Like this thru hull, no way to take it out without making a hole, sealed up with 5200 even though it's well above the water.



The colors are also nice until you have to work on them. Grey will almost never blend when you spray gel. Even a new boat with factory color from spectrum will stand out. You have to paint it, and they're hard to match. Sometimes the clear also stands out, so you have to go big to hide the blends.

I finished the Crestliner yesterday. Looks like I forgot to take a picture though. The only difference is a rubber diamond tread pad on the starboard side of the nose.

this is what have on mine. Will be adding to the trailer fenders as well.

The plate is reinforcment for the trolling motor. It had enough torque that it cracked the surface. There is actually a reinforcement plate welded underneath from the factory, and it cracked on one of the welds.

Because we had it, and it matched the color. Otherwise we had some more expensive eva foam pads, I think teak and grey. Not a good fit.

Got the cobalt painted today, no thanks to frustrations with the computer.

Next are a couple of semi fenders and rear bumper (?).





Just sand and paint, fixing some minor stuff. These are right out of the molds.

The truck left this morning. The cab is very nice inside. Should've got a picture of the truck outside, but I didn't.






Then I spent about half the day cleaning some stuff up, waiting on my next job to show up. A regal that someone else had tried to do a spot in but couldn't get the color.

Can't be mad about that, that's going to be a really hard color to match with paint, no way with gel.
