I have a Mercury 1994 75 hp ELPTO. My question is is in reference to the picture attached. There is a bolt hole in the red circle that i dont know what goes there. I bought this motor while i was looking at a bass boat and trailer to restore. I ended up getting all three for 400 dollars. He said that the bottom 2 pistons hard over 100psi compression and the top cylinder had 30.
I am wondering it that bolt hole was open while he was checking would it give him that 30psi?
I have not had the time to get it to a shop and have it checked out. but the motor is super clean,
