"Dingbat" has provided some information but I am still not clear if I should do this. I am refurbishing a 1986 Sea Ray Amberjack. The Amberjack has 2 MC bravo/stroker ODs/motors. Aluminum OD with SS props... I have replaced all anodes, including the heat exchanger's. In examining or replacing all wires or lugs, I noticed former owner or SR had connected ss bow rail, aluminum top frame, gas filler necks, gas tanks to a single bus bar on my transom via 8 gauge green coated wires. They are not Daisy Chained!
I have since replaced transom and re-lugged all wire ends or replaced with new wires. I assume this bus is the bonding bus. There was a smaller (maybe 12 gauge black wire connected the bonding bus to one of the motor blocks.
Both blocks connect to each other via a 2-4 gauge (assume) black wire. Both blocks also are connected to negative battery posts via 2-4 gauge black wires.
I also have added a bronze saltwater pickup thru hull that (below water line) is connected to a piece of 1/4" ss plate near the stern. 3/8" bolts connect the ss plate to the bottom of boat's hull. (definitely dissimilar metals) A plate/bolt is connected to bonding bus via an 8 gauge green wire.
The boat is a salt water boat but never stored wet. I assume this is why Sea Ray attached so many bonding connectors on just about all salt water exposed metals?

Should the black ground wire going from block to the bonding bus be heavier gauge? THX!
