bonito boat

a friend who owed me some money (100.) gave me a boat instead it is a 1979 bonito bowrider, hull and floor in very good condition need carpet and seats, can anyone tell me about bonito boats can not seem to find them on the web

ric,<br /><br />I don't know a lot about them, I do know the last year of production was 1988.<br /><br />Firat place I always start a search is NADA pricing guide, they go back to 1965 and in a situation like this the next step may be to search every web search engine for a boat club. <br /><br />There may not be a club for just Bonito Boats but there may be a club or web-site where owners of these boats are members of or the site may have info about the boats like FiberGlasics.<br /><br />It's always more difficult when the boat is no longer manufactured unless it is a big name with a long history. Thats not the case here. Bonito Boats were mfg from 84 to 88(according to NADA). <br /><br />Of course that does not the mean that the parent company did not make other boats. Or that the company wasn't sold. Someone may still be making these boats, they had a lot of models. Hi Ric, so did you ever find any info on that Bonito? I recently purchased a 1968 15ft Bonito with trailer and 55hp 1968 Evinrude Triumph for $250. I'm also having trouble finding any info about the boat. I want to buy parts for it.<br />I'd appreciate any info you can offer.

i am not sure what you guys are lookin for but i have a bonito boat i am going to part out and trash in florida let me know what you need this boat may have it.i will tell you now i have no seats or anything like that i have windsheilds, steering,some body hardware ask and i may have it. <br />wheinlei@tampabay.rr.com
