I am having trouble finding my boat and motor in any "nada" type used boat guide. The motor is a Suzuki Cabrea EL75 ID#07501-811753. I do not know the year. All Suzuki numbers in these books use DT numbers not EL. Also I cannot find my boat listed which is a 1987 "Troller" 16'Center Console.

junkyard

I believe that these motors were far and few between. That could be the reason for the lack of responce you're getting here. I did a search on it and did come up with a few threads on them, but probably still not much help in your situation. Hope this helps and keep coming back. You're not being ignored. Sometimes you just have to hang out here until the right person comes along who is familiar with the motor and has an answer. Meanwhile, check out these posts...

web page

web page 2

web page 3

Re: book value of Suzuki Cabrea

THANKS FOR INFO. LIKE MOST MEN, MINE'S NOT BIG ENOUGH. SO I THOUGHT I WOULD UPGRADE TO A 19' BAY BOAT OF SOME SORT. NEEDED INFO ON TRADE IN VALUE TO SELL IT. THE MOTOR IS NO PROBLEM AND HAS BEEN HIGHLY SPOKEN OF BY MY SERVICE MAN. "AMERICAN MARINE" IN NEW BERN. THEY SAY IT HAS GREAT COMPRESSON AND RUNS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE "TROLLER" BOAT INFO.IS ALSO NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE. THE TRANSOM HAD BEEN REPLACED WHEN I BOUGHT IT. IT WILL RUN 43mph LOADED. (GPS VERIFIED).........THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP. :) JUNKYARD

Re: book value of Suzuki Cabrea

The Cabrea name was used around 88 to 90 so your motor is probably in that range. Take a look at the serial # on the clamp and the first number should be the year.
I had an '88 Cabrea 50 a while back that was a good motor but the merc 135 I got was much more fun. :D

I sold the Zuki for $800 and change on ebay. So I'd guess a fair selling price of no more than a grand although you could possibly get more.

Re: book value of Suzuki Cabrea

Thanks for your help. After looking at other replies on iboats I found the info on how to identify year. It is a 1988 model. I just got back from the Bass and Saltwater fishing Expo in Raleigh,NC and I'm drooling big time. Saw some great boats and that Suzuki 6 YEAR warranty sure looks good.
