New to this forum!!!

Has anybody used Bosch Plugs on a Volvo Penta 5.7 (1980 AQ260)? I was thinking of using part # HR9BC+ with a 0.028 gap. Any suggestions/experince?

Thanks

Ayuh,....It's a SBChevy,....
Throw in a set of AC Delco MR43T plugs, gapped at .035,+ call it aday... It's worked for Over 40 Years...

Not trying to split hairs here, but, doesn't the Volvo manual call for a .028 gap with the A/C plugs?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Yep, the designers know best. Stock plugs with stock gaps have always done me just fine. I've yet to have an AC Delco plug fail on me, and I've honestly never noticed any performance improvement by using a plug other than the factory suggested one. I have had things run worse though.
