2.jpgBottom is white, semi-smooth, i don't believe its antifouling, but rather some type of epoxy paint. Now, I have a few chips from dock poles and whatnot that I'm filling with epoxy, fairing, and now I have no idea what I should be using for paint!

Any recommendations on either a semi-smooth nice looking white anti-foul? White rust-o-leum?

What are you all using? The bottom is plywood, I believe its fiberglass coated up to the water line. See photo for reference..Interlux suggested Perfection but said it could blister in prolonged use, and VC Performance Epoxy, but it may crack depending on how much wood flex there is.

What should I do?

Hello Mike and welcome to Iboats !..

NICE boat I will say :) .

IM thinking Interprotect 2000 white for the bottom coating ( Its Nasty..but Very good stuff ).

There is nothing that will help the wood flexing..but if its glassed then this might be the best bet for you if you have the $. You can allways sand/prep the IP2000 and put bottom paint on ( cringe at this for that boat ) .

This is "IF it were mine" suggestion.

YD.

Will look into the interprotect 2000..my boat stays garaged, and sees water a few times a year thats it, so i do not want or need antifouling. is the ip2000 smooth and look finished?
