Bottom Paint??????????

My Pursuit engine manual advises not to use bottom paint with copper or graphite in it. It says that it promotes rapid engine corrosion.<br />What paints do not have copper? I thought they all did.<br />Michael

Sorry, my Yamaha manual states this.

You must use paint especially for alum o/ds and outboards.Not just bottom paint.The manual is referring to painting the metals not the fiberglass hull.Charlie
