I'm painting my hull in the spring w/an abblative paint and it was suggested to add chili pepper or hot sauce to the paint.a member of my club has done this and swears by it.
Any feed back on this out there????????

Bob
(hehehe Sounds like a recipe.)
A couple things...
1. Does the 'heat' keep the growth off?
2. Does the food value cause growth?
I would read the can and follow the directions exactly and not take a chance with a well meaning rumor.
bon apetit!
While you are at it.. stick some tarko's on it and soak it in a nice red wine...

Then put it in a preheated oven at 180 degree's for 3 hours and serve with a light garnish....

Seriously though, I doubt any organic food additive would even be detectable after a month under water.. and worse it might actually attract that which you would prefer to keep away in that month..

IF you really must try it,, do it in a small area and look at it after a few months..

Compare it to the rest of the hull and let us know the results..

regards

Franki
