bottom paints

i know bottom paints can get expensive but is there another paint that i can use in place of that , just looking to to make look half way decent.can and can i use an interior or exterior paint for the inside of the hull it's a small jon boat nothing fancy or expensive.

yes, Bottom paint is only nessecary for boats that stay in the water for lobg periods of time, say longer than 3 days. If you trailer your boat, you can put topside paint on. Still not cheap, but half the price.

It is fiberglass?
If it is alumium, you can put rustolium on it.

Then just go to home depot and buy liquid rustolium oil based paint.
I used this to paint an aluminum boat 2 years ago, still perfect, although it does not get much use, it does sit outside.

Aluminum is cheap to paint, and easier than fiberglass.
