I have a 72 johnson 9.5 that was working fine last year and I went to fire it up today and nothing. After some inspection I found the bottom plug is not producing a spark. I am suspecting the coil or points need cleaning/replacing so I need to pull the flywheel. I know I need a harmonic balancer puller. Will a cheap one on amazon do? I read that it needs #8 harden bolts, where can I get these?

You're on the right track in my opinion. Don;t know where you live so hard to recommend where to buy things. Harbor Freight or Princess Auto come to mind. You could get the puller their as well. Really any place that specializes in bolts/fasteners will probably carry #8 bolts. Your flywheel will be 1/4 inch standard thread if I remember correctly.. Best of luck. Rick.
