I read about the 125 hp on another site(I feel dirty now)
The reviews were not good. It has a 4 x 2 design I understand and it has a lot of problems. I ended up with a 135 hp black max 1986 vintage that was completely rebuilt by a guy that works in Appleton at the Merc plant. New pistons and everything else. I paid $1800.00 plus the 100hp that I really have no idea what is wrong with other than the marina told me one cylinder(the top one) had low compression. I feel that a v6 will be smoother and probably more fuel efficient. I would like your opinions now. Did I get a good deal? It will be installed as well. It comes with the oil tank on the side of the motor as well as the extra oil tank. thanks for your input. bob
