Bought my first boat. The hull is faded.

I have bought a 1984 Dixie Roundabout. The hull is faded and I was wondering if their is any short term suggestions that might 'brighten' this a little? Thank you

Many gelcoat "restorer" products available. 3M, Meguires, Star Bright are three that jump to mind quickly.

Try the Restoration forum as this would fall or get more results under that catergory.

I've been using the 3M restorer and I'm really happy with it. Tried the Wal Mart version but it didn't have enough cut. Wet sanding is the way to go but make sure you have T-I-M-E. It's going to be a summer-long project for me on a 24' cruiser with three young kids to manage!
