bow hook coming loose

Hello All<br /> The front hook on my boat where I hook the winch on is coming loose, has anyone ever had this problem? My boat is a 28'Thompson I was wondering how to fix it? Thanks<br />chad

The bow hook on an old Thundercraft runabout came loose for me. I got a new one and bolted it in place, adding a reinforcing block mated to the inside of the hull.

Get to the inside where the nuts are and see what is happening.They dont usually loosen.Charlie

use loctite on the threads.

when my boat is on the trailer i loosen the winch starp to relieve the stress on the bow eye. just don't forget to tighten it when u go to move the boat/trailer!
