Bow Mount Trolling Mount on Holiday

Hey guys,

Just bought a used bow mount trolling motor on a whim, and now realize I might have a situation. Any ideas on how I can mount this thing on a closed bow 15' Starcraft holiday with a bow guard-rail? Thanks.

?????? isn't that a closed bow? Where are you going to sit to operate the motor? You could mount it off the transom which would be the painless way out otherwise you need to remove the rail....... or cut it (I would not cut it)

i have seemn boats with this same issue, i secound that thought , if it's closed bow, where you going to sit to operate it? you'll need to make a bracket and unfortunately mount it to your cap behind the rail.The rail could be an issue. And

Yeah, I'd figure just standing on the bow and operating it. I got a bit of a wooden deck on top of the bow. What do you mean by the "cap" behind the rail. I couldn't find the picture on the site.
