Bow mounted trolling motor.

Would like to install my 55# trolling motor on bow & was looking for "homemade" ideas/pictures on how others came up with ways to do this. Don't do enough trolling to justify purchasing a mounting bracket.

Make one. All it is really is a big C clamp with a mounting plate on it. Mock up a heavy plate with the right holes and have it heavy welded to 2 big locking C clamps. You can always make some type of box to cover that and paint it.

Crude yes, but functional. Just a thought.

I got this mount off ebay for $23 shipped ( brand new ). Got the part number and used that for a search on the auction site.

Big different between frugal and cheap ( meaning it was money well spent )
