Hello everyone.

Can anyone tell me is there any way to mount a transom mounted trolling motor to the bow of a boat..?

I have a Minn Kota Endura Max 55 36" that I had used when I had my 14ft row boat, well since I sold my 14 boat and bought a Sea Nymph SS 175 Fish & Ski..

I would still like to use the trolling motor as it is still practically brand new and works really great and it would also save me a lot of money on buying a bow mount trolling motor which I would not be able to buy till next year around February plus I really do not have any room to spare on the bow for aa foot control.

I know it would works great on my Sea Nymph but would like to mount it on the bow of my boat if there is a way to do so..?

So I like to know is there any type of mount out there I can buy to mount my transom mount trolling motor to the bow of my boat or something that I can make so I can still use my trolling motor?

I would also need to turn the head around on my trolling motor so the prop is going the right direction in the water which I can easily do as I have seen videos on how to do this.

I also would like to have it so I can easily remove the trolling motor for when I store my boat come winter,I can not leave it on the boat due to my boat cover would not fit correctly and the boat is also stored outside..
Thanks for any help you can give me..

I'd be interested if you find anything. I am in a similar predicament, and I was not able to find a replacement mount.

I managed to find someone who is going to make me a bow mounted bracket so I can mount my transom trolling motor on the bow of my boat..

I will just need to rotate the head of my trolling motor a 180 degrees so it is facing the right direct..

I am hoping I will have it in a couple weeks as I am not going to be in no hurry for it as I am going be laid up for a little while due to I will be having surgery on both of my ears, at the most I should be no longer then a week before I can get back on lake to doing some fishing..

Now the only thing I need to figure out is I have plug outlet that is just below the inside bow of my boat,I just need to figure if it has power going to it which I would think there is but I do not have a plug that fits it to try it so I will need to put a meter on it to see if there is power at the outlet..

So if anyone has a 1989 Sea Nymph and has a plug outlet on there bow like mine does this power have constant power all the time or do you have to turn the power on by a switch on your console?

I am not 100% but I think the bow Nav light is tied into the same wire if so I would have to switch on the Nav Light switch to get power to the plug outlet so I can have power to the trolling motor..

Will I be ok to run my trolling motor from this plug even though it would be on the same wire as the Nav lights which I would need to plug the light pole and back ;light pole to have any Nav lights on..

If I can use this plug outlet I will have to replace it with both the female and male ends as I stated I do not have a plug that fits this plug outlet..

Or should I just run all new wire from the trolling motor to the back of the boat directly to the battery box.

If I should run all new wires would the wire size be 10 gauge? if I am wrong can you all please tell me what the correct size wire should be? also should I put a inline fuse if so what size inline fuse should I have..

Now here is a picture of the plug up in the bow I am talking about,I am not sure if can you all tell by looking at the picture if this would be for a 12 volt power plug..
