Bow ornament missing

I recently purchased a 1970 Starcraft American 15 ft. Overall the boat is in good condition. My problem is that there is something missing from the bow and I don't know if it was aluminum trim or some kind of chrome ornament. I would like to find an original part but would also appreciate suggestions for filling this gap. Thanks

Two members on here have recently replaced that missing piece with a diamond plate fabrication and it came out pretty nice. Hopefully one of them will come along.
