Bravo 3 Bell Housing to Drive Shaft Housing- No gasket?

The drive shaft housing attaches to the bell housing with 6 bolts. There is a tremendously large seam created where these two join together, what stops the water from leaking in, filling that 6"diameter tunnel and ruining the U joints on the drive?

Is there a large diameter ring gasket kit I am missing?

Yes I have the small ring gaskets from Bravo Installation Kit 16755T
that go around the shifter and oil line and the polygon that goes around the water pick up chamber, but whats protecting the U joints? The U joint bellows aluminum holder ring looks to meet up where my Philips head is pointed. Is there a big ring gasket or plumbers putty supposed to be installed there? That annular channel on mine is full of old grease or something.

Or a more complex gasket sheet that goes where the dental pick is pointed?

There is a kit for the Alphas ; Quicksilver 94996Q2 Bell Housing Installation Gasket Kit. What about Bravos and Bravo 3 in particular?

Does the aft end of the U joint bellows seal perfectly against the annular ring my phillips head is pointed at? Or is there some additional material needed at this junction?

There is a quad ring which is placed inside and next to sleeve and bellows. When drive is installed the quad ring seals all areas

I miss-spoke, quad rings are used on Alpha not Bravo

Is this 'quad ring' integral to the sterndrive or is it a loose part one must insert?

SERVICE MANUAL NUMBER 28

IMPORTANT: The edge of the U-joint bellows acts as a seal between the bell housing and the drive shaft housing. Ensure that the surface is not damaged.

My apologies, The quad ring is on Alpha drives not Bravo. The edge or the Bravo seals against the bellows, and the metal ring holds it secure once drive is installed
