I noticed gear lube on my garage floor and it appears a fitting is broken next to the speedometer fitting in the lower drive. The broken fitting I found there is straight but it appears there is not enough hose to bend and connect the two pieces together. Does anyone know the part number or name of the fitting I apparently need. Bravo gear lube tube.jpgBravo 3 gear lube fittting.jpg

a universal vac hose connector but your issue is in replacing that hose without breaking of the end in the transom. Replacement is difficult but not impossable.Attach a razor blade to a dowel and slit the hose to remove it from the transom. Using a 3/16 or 1/4 inch rod 14 inches long with a sharpened tip to cut the clamp and hose on the gimbal side

That hose is no where near the transom. It is next to the speedmeter fitting in the very bottom of the lower u;nit.

If gear oil has leaked it leaked from the oil hose from the res to the drive.
Using a length of hose approx 2 inches longer

Nope, it is coming from the tiny hose on the right in the picture. A very slow drip - about 3 oz. a day.
