I recently changed the lower housing due to corrosion. Like most of the prop shafts on the Bravo 3, there's grooves from the shaft seals. Easy fix: when I replaced the shaft seals all I had to do was insert the seals further in about 1/8 of an inch. Now the seals are not contacting the shaft in the same area. Leak tested and no problems now.
