Is it normal to hear some rattling on a Bravo3 at high idle on muffs (1500) rpm ?

May i ask why you running it at 1500 on the muffs? When was the last time you eyballed everything behind the drive?

On cone clutch drives (like the Bravo drives) it's possible to get an upper gear rattle. Normally heard in diesels because of the rougher idle, but possible to hear if a gas engine is running poorly or has a miss. Which do you have?

engine runs fine (gas) no problems w/ drive if I run it on muffs in driveway I can hear a rattle. Sounds like it could be coming from upper gear case
