i'm having a shifting issue with my 2006 Bravo 3. It is hesitating for a few seconds before going into forward gear. There are no problems with reverse. The drive has been flawless for 250hrs and as far as I can tell the shift linkages on top of the engine are working properly and have been lubricated religiously.
I'm guessing the problem is with the drive end of the lower shift cable. What would I be looking for on the lower end of the shift cable that would cause an issue like this?
I want to get opinions before I pull the boat out of the water to fix it.
Thanks in advance
