All, wishing to remove the drive trim hydraulic manifold in preparation for replacement. Nuts removed but the manifold is stuck on the housing. Typically they do not apply marine adhesive to the gaskets, correct? Looking for safest way to get this thing off. Place chisel at gasket area and hammer? Appreciate the help in advance.

Correct, normally no adhesive is used.
Can I ask why you want to remove it?

I'd be searching for a new one, since removal may crack aluminum? Good luck!
