Break in Period

Was wondering why the 2T Tohatsu 2.5/3.5 engines requires only just 5 hour break in period compared to 5 and bigger same brand engines which requires 10 hour. ? All with 25:1 gas/oil ratio.

Maybe the compresion ratio? could be the rpm that the motor operates at, possible the temp or timming curve.

Well that's a nice guess, but wanted to get the tech point. To start with, rpm is bit less than next older brother (4200-5300 at wot) slight less advance timming, no thermostat, efficient cooling as long water passages are completely clean.
