hey guys

Looking to buy a 2000 glastron gs249- this one has a 5.0 merc with 95 hours. boat is in great shape. The only problem I see is there is about a three inch piece broken of the side of the cavitation plate about where it meets the back edge. they say they will have it welded is that ok or will there be a problem. or can I leave it alone and run with it broken like that??????

thanks
COOL It

Re: broken cavitation plate

Getting it welded should not pose any problems most used boat tend to have had welding repairs on skegs and ventilation plates.
