Broken/Cracked remote filter mount - temp fix?

Looking for some critique on a temp fix for my remote oil filter mount, 4.3GXI-E. I must have cracked it 2 years ago when I installed new risers/manifolds. I am planning on replacing it, but it is not easy - the bolts cannot be withdrawn since there is no clearance between deck and riser. I will need to completely disassemble riser to remove bolts (I have to lay it on its side). I am fine doing this the end of the season, over the winter. Right now I just want to run it.

I am thinking of JB-Welding the oil filter mount back to its ears, and securing it with a large hose clamp to the riser. Basically just the ears have broken free from the mount, and I figured I just want to keep it from moving around to prevent flexing of the hoses (and springing a subsequent leak). The hose clamp alone could do that, but thought the JB-Weld would just help keep it from moving around.

Does anyone see a flaw in this plan just to get me thru this boating season? I do have a new mount on order. I could also possibly locate some holes thru the deck above the riser to withdraw the bolts. I have a rope/AC power box on the transom right above the risers that could hide the holes - I would patch them of course.

Thanks in advance for any feedback - just wanted to make sure I was not overlooking anything obvious.

I used JB weld on my windless on the Larson about 4 years ago and it's still holding, it's like the 5200 of 2 part epoxies

Thanks guys for the feedback. I'll be strapping it to the riser and running it till fall. Not sure how I ever overlooked the fact that I cracked it.
